Keyworth Howard was the last in a family of ten children. His father Robert Daniel Howard had settled in Ross Township, adjacent to Westmeath Township, with his wife Mary Jane Johnson (1845-1913) a woman from Claredon Twp., Pontiac County, on the Lower Canada side of the Ottawa River. Her parents were Cotie Thompson Johnston (1812-1888) and Nancy Ann Moore (1813-1887). Mary Jane would marry a second time to George Lane.

- Keyworth Daniel Howard (1880 – 1948). In October 1903 Keyworth Daniel Howard (1880-1948) m. Alice Edith Condie (1881-1954). 1903 Keyworth &Alice Marriage She was the daughter of Thomas Clarke Condie and Elizabeth Munro of Beachburg. See CONDIE entry.
After her mother’s death Alice had stayed on with her father. After her marriage her father continued to live with her and her family; four of her Howard sons all went to work in the mines in Sudbury.
The children of Keyworth Daniel Howard and Alice Condie were:
i. Melville Rosswell Howard (1904-1978)
ii. Elmer William Howard (1905-1963) born in Westmeath Twp. , and went to the mines in Sudbury for his working life. Elmer married Catherine Doris Morrison (1905-1963). Catherine was also a Beachburg girl, the daughter of Munro Morrison and Mary Martin. HOWARD, Catherine Morrison
